    Hi everyone, my name is Justin Vogel and over the last couple months I have enjoyed a wonderful and educational experience interning with Kneip & Company at HJN Team Real Estate.  Throughout this summer, one of my jobs has been to constantly update the blog on their website.  If you regularly check this blog, I hope you have found something that was informative and helpful to you.

         Being involved in real estate is something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember and I couldn’t pass up the opportunity offered by Kneip & Company.  For them to take time out of their schedule and show me how things are done is something I am grateful for.  I think this experience has really benefited me and will give me a jump start when I begin my real estate career.  It gave me a chance to learn and understand the in’s and out’s of what a realtor does on a daily basis. (When I say daily, I mean 7 days a week)  This team works extremely hard for their clients and are very good at what they do.

         This summer I started out with a vague idea of what it took to be a successful real estate agent.  After spending time with Kneip & Company and following them around, I found there are a lot of things that must be coordinated and on schedule in order to have a successful closing.  I’ve also learned that you must be familiar with the market and know market statistics.  By having knowledge of these things, it gives you instant credibility to clients and agents.  Even the most experienced realtor does not know everything, so in order to be successful, you need to be a problem solver.  Things are constantly changing and you need to continue to learn from different educational seminars, tapes, and CD’s.    

         I want to thank everyone working at HJN Team Real Estate for treating me like part of the team from day one.  I sincerely enjoyed your kindness and friendship. I especially want to thank Greg, Pam, Mike and Alisha for giving me this unbelievable opportunity to learn from them.  I couldn’t have asked for better mentors.

         See everyone again in January!
