Nick Kiesow from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage forwarded us this GOOD Sioux Falls Housing News today  -- these statistics put our local real estate market in perspective (we're gearing up for an active Spring season!) 

--Approximately 30% of all U.S. Homes are owned free-and-clear and do not even have a Mortgage.

--Of the 70% of Households that do have a Mortgage, 96.7% are not in Foreclosure.

--Over 50% of all Foreclosures nationwide are in 3 states (California, Florida, & Michigan) and in 2 cities (Las Vegas & Phoenix).
