The 24th Annual Festival of Bands is expected to draw more than 10,000 fans and participants to Sioux Falls this Saturday for a parade of street marching and later, field marching competitions.

The parade begins at 8:45 a.m. at 14th and Main St. Competitors include high school marching bands from South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming.  See the band's schedules here:

Later, bands will compete in field competitions. The top ten prelim finishers will compete at Howard Wood Field in the Final Cometition Saturday night.
